Dusky and Lovely

The weather's a bit dusky lately. We had some rain for the past couple of nights. I like this kind of duskiness. Don't get me wrong, it's not gloomy for me. I think of it as being quiet and relaxed. It's quite lovely, actually. The temperature's cooled down too and no humidity - hurrah!

The downside is that the cable's acting up. It would go out and then come back up again. Missed seeing Oliver's Twist though (boo-hoo). Well, they've been showing reruns of it for quite a while now so... It's a pretty old show but it's still good. Haven't grown tired of it, surprisingly.

Had a hearty lunch of lechon paksiw (I wonder how long we're going to have that) and just ate a banana. I'm off to work - just a few paces to the computer table... Oh, I'm right here. Nye!

I'm actually going to start with some books now, starting the 2009 in-house accounting books and all. Then, it's off to online work. Just wanted to note the lovely, dusky weather we're having now. Bye.

Lovely weather now. It's cold - not too cold that I have to bundle up - it's nice. It's windy outside too. Mosquitoes in my room are not afraid. It used to be that when you wave a hand over one that's "dining" on you, it would fly away. Now, when I feel an itch on my leg and put a hand over it ever so calmly, I squash the bug. Gross. Here was my dinner yesterday, chicken congee or arroz caldo . Suitable dish during cold weather 'cause it's filling and the spiciness from the ginger hits the spot.

Paymaya duplicate account 2018 [fixed]

How to fix a Paymaya Duplicate Account issue? Do not waste your time sending an email to support@paymaya.com or messaging PaymayaCares on FB because you will only get a canned response (and a headache). YOU NEED TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING... If you do not have a landline but you do have a Smart number, call *788 directly. This is free. That's what I did. I spoke with a rep and she fixed it right away, mabilis lang. She said the BSP (Bangko Sentral) is strict and will only allow 1 upgraded account per user. Any attempts to upgrade a different number will flag the new account and put you in this duplicate account mess and you won't be able to add money to this new number anymore. (The original account will not be affected though.) Because they cannot cancel the submitted upgrade request on the new number (it doesn't work that way daw), I had to choose which number I want to keep-- If I choose to keep the old upgraded number, they will delete the duplicate account and I

GlobeAtHome no internet [fixed]

Globe at Home: "Connected without internet" ================ 11/4/2023 Saturday ================ 12 Noon: We lost our wifi today. After troubleshooting* a few times -- still no "internet" light on the modem; it is off while all other lights are green. *Power off modem for 30 seconds and wait for it to boot up. ~2:45pm: I called Globe's customer service 211 . It's free to call with a Globe #. Automated recording for broadband services - give your customer account # and wait for a human to answer. I didn't wait too long -- The rep told me that since there's no advisory for my area, to keep troubleshooting because they might be able to fix it on their end later today, but she still put me down for a tech "home visit" for tomorrow.
