ACK! WAH Overload
I got all three jobs on a deadline this week... ack!
Accounting: Yesterday, I received documents and files for tax reports that I have to send by Saturday (or Sunday, at the latest).
Content Writing: I have to write at least four articles and submit them by Friday to get my pay this month.
Transcription: I was assigned an hour-long (plus a few minutes) podcast that I'm downloading at this very moment. I have to submit it before Saturday.
Phew!
I sure hope my computer can handle it since it's been very hot and humid here lately (I don't use air conditioning kasi -- oh, I do have an AC but I don't use it). It's so hot!!! My fingers are sweaty... they're sticking on the keys... maybe I should turn the AC on??? Okay, I'm thinking about it. I don't want to add on to our electric bill because since it's so expensive here especially with air conditioning.
Okay, downloading successful... I'm going to load that podcast to express scribe now. Ciao!

Someone caught a virus on June 13 - probably at the grocery store. We were both sick by the 14th. I had a fever for 2 days then cough and colds for a week. All food tasted bitter or nothing at all, but I could taste sweet food after the fever broke... White bread, plain rice and cold Milo were my meals. A few slices of pear, too. I was nauseated and weak. Gutom na pero walang gana. Korean-style egg drop toast benta ng kapitbahay Napabili nako nito nung 19th. Yung with cheese pinili ko, 110 pesos. Maliit ba? Oks lang kahit di brioche. Matamis kaya nalasahan ko. Masarap pero half lang nakain dahil sa nausea. I thought I could eat more... di pa pala. I started to feel normal 10 days later, on the 24th. Parang walang nangyari. But my sense of taste is not back 100% yet as of today, the 28th.
April 16, 2025 It's that time of the year... Ang iniiiitttt na ng 34 C (feels like 37 C)!!! The heat at 6AM wakes us up. Noon time is somehow bearable because of the black-out blinds, but we have to turn on the A/C at 3PM already or our tech will be affected (esp. the laptop and electric wheelchair!) or worse, we suffer heat stroke. Maynilad's annual "repairs and maintenance" around Holy Week doesn't help since they provide our condo's water supply. Speaking of which - our condo admin shut off water for many days citing Maynilad repairs from April 6-17 . They announced a water interruption schedule on the 8th (as they should though very late) to allow the community cistern to get full, but they neither followed their stated hours nor gave any more updates or explanations interim - it was awful since the areas around us had steady supply already by the 11th/12th albeit low pressure. How to fix a Paymaya Duplicate Account issue? Do not waste your time sending an email to support@paymaya.com or messaging PaymayaCares on FB because you will only get a canned response (and a headache). YOU NEED TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING... If you do not have a landline but you do have a Smart number, call *788 directly. This is free. That's what I did. I spoke with a rep and she fixed it right away, mabilis lang. She said the BSP (Bangko Sentral) is strict and will only allow 1 upgraded account per user. Any attempts to upgrade a different number will flag the new account and put you in this duplicate account mess and you won't be able to add money to this new number anymore. (The original account will not be affected though.)
