Domino's Pizza Better Living Pque Delivery via FoodPanda App Domino's used its own delivery rider for this order. "Mix & Match" - solo Hawaiian, solo lasagna and 4 pieces mini marbled brownie. Super sulit for P274. The brownies were very sweet so, we saved 2 pieces for the next day to have with a cup of black coffee. Ordered from Domino's since they're one of only a couple of spots around here that sell a simple Margherita pizza. This is hand-tossed for P461. Yummy and fresh - whole basil leaves, ftw! But eat it right away because any leftover will be 'meh' the next day. FoodPanda has a variety of vouchers. I used one for this order so I got around P130+ off the total (tip is separate, of course!).

My "brunch series" :) Delimondo Luncheon Meat Delimondo's luncheon meat is yum. Sana they will change the can to an "easy open" one soon, you know, with a pull-up tab. I think we whip out the can opener just for the Delimondo products these days.   McDonald's Chicken Nuggets When I order McDonald's - the medium or large burger set with fries and drink (portion's actually good for two!) - I get their nuggets with BBQ sauce too to meet the minimum spend for discounted delivery on Food Panda PH. We eat that for brunch the next day. Skinless Longganisa de Cebu We have a neighbor who sells chorizo de Cebu and longganisa de Cebu. These are sweet with chunks of fat... yummy! 

APRIL 2024 This shower valve became loose — they couldn't shut it off properly, water was dripping off it... Disaster waiting to happen.  The maintenance guy said the parts inside were starting to crumble " nadudurog napo" and we needed to replace the whole set. He showed us a photo of the replacement so we can buy the right one. You can buy it online sa Shopee ↗ the shower valve set arrived The handle is different from the shop's product photo but the important parts are identical (I guess) so I called admin to request service. The same maintenance guy came and replaced it all just fine.  I signed the service order form afterwards. I will get billed for this repair visit. It will show up in the next condo HOA statement.  Tipped the nice man and gave him cold juice to drink. The weather's so hot at 35C but feels like 40C with the humidity! UPDATE Received the statement - the repair and maintenance fee is 250.00 pesos.

  Waah ang init na naman dito! Merong cold breeze minsan pero grabe init 35 degrees C ngayon. Binababa na namin black-out blinds ng bintana kasi tumatagingting ang sikat ng araw. Ganito naman talaga pag summer dati pa so expected na, pero mapapa-react ka talaga. Good luck nalang sa Meralco bill next month at napapatagal nang naka-on ang A/C sa gabi huhu 😭

 It's mango season! Lots of sweet ripe mangoes for sale around us 😋  Mango Slices, Pork Tocino + Vinegar Sawsawan My current favorite bigas  variety is sinandomeng. It is buhaghag but still soft, but not all sinandomeng  are the same. I prefer the one by Golden Grain's. Mango Slices, Beef Tapa + Salt on the Side I asked for salt. Maybe I'm having too much sweet fruit.  Mango slices, Purefoods hotdogs + UFC Banana Catsup I prefer Purefoods Cocktail Hotdogs compared to the regular sized Tender Juicy. Two weeks straight of sweet mangoes is cloying (but good for digestion!). Will hold off buying them for now. 

  Chicken Nuggets (Purefoods Chicken Breast Nuggets) Yum with BBQ sause. Sliced mango yung nasa taas, masarap din, matamis. Homemade Baked Macaroni Ordered from a neighbor for noche buena. It has beef, mushrooms and bechamel sauce. Still yum. Second year in a row na since  2022 noche buena macaroni . Pork tocino and scrambled egg (Pampanga's Best Original Tocino) with suka, syempre. Dry yung eggs huhu. Sinangag sana yung rice pero bagong saing kasi. Dapat sa fried rice yung day-old na maalsa para buhaghag. Speaking of... tagalog ako pero yung term na "maalsa" sa bigas, recently ko lang naintindihan 😁 

  Masarap at malasa yung chicken and pork BBQ... but with java rice?  Parang di bagay with java rice kasi nag-aaway ang lasa. I like it with plain rice lang + sawsawan.

Globe at Home: "Connected without internet" ================ 11/4/2023 Saturday ================ 12 Noon: We lost our wifi today. After troubleshooting* a few times -- still no "internet" light on the modem; it is off while all other lights are green. *Power off modem for 30 seconds and wait for it to boot up. ~2:45pm: I called Globe's customer service 211 . It's free to call with a Globe #. Automated recording for broadband services - give your customer account # and wait for a human to answer. I didn't wait too long -- The rep told me that since there's no advisory for my area, to keep troubleshooting because they might be able to fix it on their end later today, but she still put me down for a tech "home visit" for tomorrow. I received my report reference # via text message too.  She said I will also give that ref # if I want to request for a "bill adjustment" later. Modem status 4pm: I logged into the modem, the da
