Dairy Queen Ice Cream Mango Cheesecake in a To-Go Tin (P449.00) via Grab Food (+ delivery fee). This is their small 6" tin, filled with vanilla soft serve and toppings (mango slices, cheesecake bits, and whipped cream). Looks very nice but tastes bland on its own kasi konti lang ang toppings, so we paired it with my cousin's homemade fudgy chocolate cake! Cake à la mode ❤ 

It’s dry! 🙁 What happened? This is the 2nd consecutive roll that we’ve bought from the Red Ribbon Bicutan branch at Dona Soledad Avenue… The previous one was the mango roll; it was dry too. Red Ribbon used to be our go-to shop for affordable roll cakes because they were so moist , but the quality has gone down. 😢 The Red Ribbon Ube Bloom round cake that we ordered last year 2021 was delicious though, so maybe it's just the rolls that changed.

New year's eve dinner... Braised chicken quarters with pineapple ala hamonado 😋 NYE dessert... Silvanas "gems" by Sweet EsCakes. I bought this from a neighbor. Different flavors sya like green=matcha, violet=ube, white=coconut, etc. Sarap din 😋

Assorted dessert slices from Just & Joy Bakeshop in Paranaque - carrot cake and I forget what the others are called. This was taken last year. They were kind enough to deliver kahit konti lang binili ko and late na, I just paid extra. It is best to eat these right out of the fridge while they're still cold para super sarap. I found pictures on my phone that I forgot about until I started scrolling through them recently. I took pictures at the time because I wanted to write about them like in this post... These pictures were from April 2019 pa LOL. I think this one with layers is a mille feuille.

Here's another kind of choco cake roll from Red Ribbon. They thought the last one was so good (ditto!) that they bought another kind of chocolate roll last night. See how shiny that icing is... and how rich that cake is... and btw, it really is not THAT sweet at all (unless all you eat is the icing, of course!) I didn't ask what the name of this roll was, but it was fudge-y and oh-so-yummy. On a different note, don't you hate it when you ask for coffee in the morning and you get decaf?!? I was like, don't give me decaf when I want regular coffee!!! Oh boy... So, I drank a full glass of Pepsi max, straight, just now to get my caffeine fix today. Now, my head hurts and I want to crawl back to bed. It's probably my high blood pressure pumping away and not the Pepsi that's causing this. Oh well, that's enough rant for today... :)
