fish and beans fry a fish then open a can of pork and beans. eat them together with rice. yummy. foodx3 i ate three times tonight: early dinner {see fish and beans above}, dessert {two handfuls of chocolate-covered almonds}, and late dinner {pancit malabon}. pics it would have been nice if i added pictures.

I made an entry last week {Jan 5th}. I didn't post it then because the next day {Jan 6th}, the mouse came back to life. I took the battery out that night and when I put it back in the next day, it worked again. 5th Jan 2012 - technological problem! thumbs down, new mouse ; it was great when it worked. i was prepared to take on this battery hog but then it quits on me 1 month and 3 batteries later; so much for trying to get rid of cables. this ms mouse 3500 just turned me off all wireless stuff for the desktop. who knows how long i'll feel this way about it {drama}. I used a newly-bought "energizer advanced" alkaline then {over 100 pesos for a two-battery pack}. When I turned the mouse on on Jan 6th, the yellow power-indicator lit up a little longer before it faded and the mouse worked fine. I am taking notes because earlier today, January 11th, the mouse's power-indicator lit red before it faded {meaning the battery's running low}. January 6th-11th, that

happy 2012! hope your NYE/NYD was great! though my 1st day of the new year was baaaddddd... i was sick!!! stop reading now if you couldn't care less because i will start talking about it... now: i suspect it was bad hot cocoa or bad pork on NYE but none of us are sure. it was either GER or indigestion - the nausea, bloating, reflux - it was all yuck. i puked before bed. i vomited in bed {on the bed, to be clear, blech} at 4am, yuck. for the most of january 1st, i was in bed, in the corner with vomit bags, tissues and a trash can beside me. i could not sleep, threw up once before noon and about 3 times {i lost count} within 6 hours in the afternoon. i was sleepy, nauseated and hungry. i thought, "this is it, i'm not going to get any better, we're going to have to go to the ER." early in the evening, i took one capsule of "losec 20mg" for the GER. my feet and hands were clammy too so i drank water with a dissolved tablet of oral rehydration salts - &

what the... my new mouse drained one "eveready" black AA battery in one week! oh no, this is not a good sign. to think that i don't forget to switch the mouse off after i shut the machine down. i do hope it was only a bad battery, even if it was from a newly opened pack. does this mean i have to switch to a gold "eveready" or to another brand?
