Globe at Home: "Connected without internet" ================ 11/4/2023 Saturday ================ 12 Noon: We lost our wifi today. After troubleshooting* a few times -- still no "internet" light on the modem; it is off while all other lights are green. *Power off modem for 30 seconds and wait for it to boot up. ~2:45pm: I called Globe's customer service 211 . It's free to call with a Globe #. Automated recording for broadband services - give your customer account # and wait for a human to answer. I didn't wait too long -- The rep told me that since there's no advisory for my area, to keep troubleshooting because they might be able to fix it on their end later today, but she still put me down for a tech "home visit" for tomorrow. Globe at Home Installation Plan 1599

Applied for Globe at Home VDSL Plan 1599 Monday afternoon (April 18, 2022). It was installed Wednesday morning (April 20, 2022). This is modem-only plan, walang landline. There is a Globe agent/booth at our clubhouse. I assume many residents in our community are Globe internet and landline subscribers. Ang contact number ng lobby sa building namin is Globe landline. NOTES via talk with our Globe agent during the application:  • Expect around P800 sa unang billing para sa fees; she does not know why they printed it as "... P100 per month for first 12 months" sa promotional flyer. (UPDATE: Actual first month's bill ko = P2,185.30; Second month's bill = P1,599.00)  • Correct na there is a 24-month lock-in contract.  • Lahat ng buildings dito are wire-ready sa Globe that is why mabilis ang installation.
