replacement circuit breaker

Image
The maintenance guy just left... See, our range hood and electric stove quit working last night. We called for maintenance to check it then, but it was too late so no one came. We asked our lobby guard to call them again around noon today. The maintenance guy came at around 2 PM. His greeting was... I'm going to fix your door too. LOL. Yeah, our door handle is loose too. So he checked the stove and hood... used our extension cord to check the hood's power (the hood is not broken, yay!) and other things... The verdict: we need to replace the circuit breaker. Damn. I hoped it was just the fuse. Anyway, the good news is that he has a spare 32-amp breaker cuz the people that ordered it first were not home when he visited their unit earlier so, if we wanted to, we can buy that spare that costs 300 pesos so he can install it today, and he can just buy another one for that other unit. OMG, yes, please! Installation fee is separate though because the condo admin will charge

Paymaya duplicate account 2018 [fixed]

Image
How to fix a Paymaya Duplicate Account issue? Do not waste your time sending an email to support@paymaya.com or messaging PaymayaCares on FB because you will only get a canned response (and a headache). YOU NEED TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING... If you do not have a landline but you do have a Smart number, call *788 directly. This is free. That's what I did. I spoke with a rep and she fixed it right away, mabilis lang. She said the BSP (Bangko Sentral) is strict and will only allow 1 upgraded account per user. Any attempts to upgrade a different number will flag the new account and put you in this duplicate account mess and you won't be able to add money to this new number anymore. (The original account will not be affected though.) Because they cannot cancel the submitted upgrade request on the new number (it doesn't work that way daw), I had to choose which number I want to keep-- If I choose to keep the old upgraded number, they will delete the duplicate account and I

shopback ph missing cashback 2018

Image
Cashbacks from Shopback.ph that are supposed to be Confirmed by now are just passing by, stuck at Pending. It started mid-September. Missing cashbacks are cropping up as well. My Honestbee.ph clicks are being recorded but the completed transactions are not being recognized as Pending like they used to. I reported a missing cashback from Honestbee.ph last month that is now being "investigated." [*Update: Investigation is done and they rejected it. hmmm...]  Is this happening only to me??? I have over 1,000 pesos in pending cashbacks from Honestbee.ph... it will be so bad if I don't get it back. [*Update 10/12/18: Yung mga transactions ko na too-long in Pending status are now verified, sunod-sunod pa. Good. Winithdraw ko na agad at baka mawala nanaman.]

Bpi enroll 3rd party account 2018

Image
Bpi's email instructions say to mail the signed enrollment form to BPI Fulfillment Banking, 9/F BPI Card Center, 8753 Paseo de Roxas... That address worked last year. But this year, di na. The courier I used said that delivery failed because the "consignee moved." I tweeted @TalktoBPI and they gave me the updated mailing address: (Image) BPI Fulfillment Banking Group 18th Floor, BPI Buendia Center Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City 1003 Sana tama na to... try ulit ipadala ngayon. (Image)

BDO to Paymaya is back

As of yesterday, BDO to Paymaya is working again! Yay! :D

Hanako delivery dona soledad via honestbee

Image
Honestbee has a P200-off promo for first-time food orders. I used it yesterday. I picked Hanako. Japanese food. It has a branch along Dona Soledad Ave. That's close enough. - California Maki = yummy - Gyoza = fried but got here soggy na - Ebi Tempura = same as the gyoza, soggy So, either Hanako cools the fried orders before closing the containers for delivery or I don't order fried items from them anymore.

FarmStay Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel

Image
Aloe Vera gel by FarmStay (Korea) The weather in Metro Manila now has turned you-immediately-sweat-straight-out-of-the-shower muggy unless you have the a/c on 24/7 (which I don't). You can't use regular lotion in this weather cuz it doesn't get absorbed properly. Using this aloe vera gel is much better. This particular one by FarmStay smells nice and clean, and is absorbed completely. It is light on the skin. Not icky at all. I like it.

Trying to call bpi 89100

... Is such a waste of time. I have been trying to get through to them the whole day. I have called so many times. Each time their phone system picks up, I am put on hold. Aaaaaarghhhh!

Unionbank to paymaya delay

Image
It happened again... Waah. Unionbank to Paymaya funding delay (via online bills payment): sent the money last Friday, early afternoon, pero wala padin ngayon, Monday na. Usually, the payments are credited within two hours, but sometimes ganito... Delayed. Kailangan pang i-report sa Paymaya Support. *Update: The money showed up in my account na after a week, as a credit adjustment. Buti naman.

Brunch sobrang busog

Image
Purefoods cocktail hotdogs, tomato omelet (puno ng matamis na kamatis sa loob), & garlic fried rice. Nabusog ako, sobra. Sumakit tuloy ulo ko... Nyek. Salamat sa pagkain, Lord.

Pininyahang manok

Image
My first attempt. Yum. I'll try to remember what I did...  First, leave 500g chicken to marinate in pineapple juice (juice from 115g small pack of pineapple tidbits, set aside the bits for later), ~30 minutes. Now, onto cooking... Fry 1 small potato (cubed) in some oil on high until partially cooked. Set this aside too, for later. Turn heat down to medium. Saute half a white onion (sliced) until soft. Add 2 garlic cloves (chopped), saute pa. Add 2 sweet tomatoes (quartered), saute konti. Take care, tatalsik. Add marinated chicken pieces. Mix, mix. Cover and simmer on high until meat is white ~5 mins. The chicken and tomatoes will let out their own juices. Add the marinade. Mix. Cover and simmer again ~5 mins. Turn heat down to medium. Mix. Add 250g box of all-purpose cream. Fill this box ~1/2 way with water, shake and pour into the pan. Mix. Add the pineapple tidbits. Mix.  Simmer on medium uncovered ~10 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Mix.  Add the fried potaotes, 1 tsp. M

Growing tomatoes (day 8)

Image
Transpanted two of the older tomato sprouts into their own cups last night (March 29,'18, day 8).

Growing organic tomatoes (day 6)

Image
Three more sprouted the other day! Hello, my pretty tomato sprouts...

Growing organic tomatoes (day 3)

Image
Ooh... Hang in there, buddy! The seeds came from this kind of sweet, organic tomatoes. We just cut it into smaller pieces and planted a couple of the pieces three days ago, not very deep into the potting soil (the rest of the slices we used for an omelet the next day)... And as you can see up top, one of the 'lil buggers sprouted this morning, yay!

Fried beef, buttered corn, cucumber

The cucumber, clean and refreshing, was marinated overnight in a mix of Bragg apple cider vinegar, Stevia, black pepper, and some water. Best served cold, of course.

Pulseras by Kim gold-filled ring

Image
Gold-filled ring . Size 8. Simple & chic. Bought this online at pulserasbykim.com . I recommend this shop. Transaction was smooth and shipping was quick. I like it very much. The size 8 is okay for a thumb ring on me but a little too loose so, maybe a 7 would have been better. I want to find another gold-filled ring like this in a size 6.5 for my index finger, or a size 6 for my ring finger. Funny thing is, I did not know my ring size before buying this. Now, I think I have a pretty good idea. :)

UnionBank bills payment to Paymaya

Image
Lately, bills payments that I've made from UnionBank online to Paymaya have been delayed. I would typically receive my funds in two (2) hours regardless of amount. But in  two separate transactions, I've had to forward my Unionbank confirmation email to Paymaya support:  support@paymaya.com ...to report my missing funds, with the subject, RE: Missing Funds. Take note that I made these payments on a weekday, in the morning. The first time, my money showed up in my Paymaya account two business days after I emailed Paymaya.  The second time happened today... Well, I just emailed them this evening.

Japanese Golden Curry

Image
My first Japanese-style  curry (カレー) with S&B Golden Curry roux (mild version). There are 2 packs in one box... I used 1 pack with 1/2 kilo pork. It is so rich. It tastes just okay, I was not blown away. I will look for the Vermont brand of Japanese curry to try next time. They say Vermont tastes better than Golden.

Pork giniling with pineapple tidbits

Image
Yummy. I'm getting the hang of this. Hot pan, medium heat. Put 250g pork giniling and some water (to prevent it from releasing oil). Break up the meat. Pour in 115g Hunts tomato sauce, 1 cup of water, 2 Tbsps soy sauce, and 115g Dole pineapple tidbits*. (*Drain the pineapple juice into a glass and add lots of ice for a refreshing drink!) Mix well. Turn heat on high. When it boils, turn it down to medium again. Mix and then, simmer for ~15 minutes or until pork is just cooked (add a bit more water if it needs to cook longer) Add 155g green peas. Mix. Simmer for 5 minutes. Taste. Add more soy sauce if needed. Mix and boil ~5 minutes. Done!
