Globe at Home modem no internet light

*May 15, 2026 FRI

No internet since May 13, WED afternoon. Third (3rd) day na without Globe internet. Same issue as before: steady green lights except the "Internet" light is off (see pic). GlobeOne app states no outage. Unplugging the modem does not fix the issue. Sigh, eto nanaman kami.

*May 16, 2026 SAT

Called 211 with a Globe phone today. I requested to cancel/terminate my plan since the lock-in period has already expired. The rep confirmed I'm "out of contract" and put me on hold for the "retention" team. But it did not go through, so the rep created a ticket # for me and told me to wait for a call-back within 24 hours.

*May 20, 2026 TUE

No one got back to me. Called 211 with a Globe phone to follow up. Rep said my ticket # is open and in queue for a call-back. "Wait nyo lang po ang tawag nila." Okayyyyy.

*May 22, 2026 FRI

Still no one called from Globe. My plan's cut-off is end of the month so, dapat ma-process ang cancellation before magsimula ang June billing cycle.

*June 4, 2026 THU 

I received a text from Globe that they already processed my "cease request" with the same ticket #. No one called me but is this it? It's successfully cancelled? No, it's not!

*June 5, 2026 FRI

The bill for the period May 1-31 has been posted and it's for the FULL amount, not pro-rated. The date I requested to cancel  was May 16. I paid it in full anyway. The app still shows the Globe at Home account/plan as active..  ano ba to?

*June 9, 2026 TUE

I am chatting with Alagang Globe Helpdesk on Viber right now - the rep said the termination request did not push thru and the ticket was closed! OMG. He asked if I still wanted to proceed with termination. I said yes. He will transfer me daw...

I have been waiting for hours. Nada. Deadma.

The June billing cycle has begun so I made an advance payment (partial) just now. No reason for them to use any outstanding balance as an excuse, if ever. Ridiculous... their system is terrible. So hard to cancel.
