Filipino merienda
Our community has a lot of residents who sell food for a living i.e. caterers, bilao, packed meals... even former restaurant cooks/chefs.
Sometimes they will post on our local FB group selling small or "solo" portions... What you see here is palabok with fat noodles and "cheezy" kutchinta in tubs from a bilao seller. They put the cheese in a separate container so the kutchinta wouldn't spoil.
The kutchinta looked too nice and glossy... I was apprehensive but it tasted authentic! So nice. I liked it.
Palabok was yum but I just wanted to taste it. I think I prefer thin noodles over fat ones for palabok.
