Happy 2020!

Happy new year! I've not posted in months... ano na mga nangyari?

Busy yung December which is fine. I had fun.

I'm going to get another round of blood tests done early March. Ready na yung doctor's order from my home-service consult with an MD I got thru the AIDE app last month... actually, yung previous blood tests ko, dun ko din na-book. As in! -- I want to write about my experiences using the AIDE app which were all positive so far, pati yung same-day Rx medicine deliveries were great - they use Grab!

Naisip ko na I want to write about hotels - and how they treat guests in wheelchairs. Medyo madami nakong naipon na kwento from Alabang, Mandaluyong at Makati (nakwento ko na yung GoHotels sa Bacolod dati na very accessible kasi proper ramps are built around the building! As in tama ang height at slope nila kaya they are very safe to use. I loved it.).

Generally, the people/staff have been kind, helpful, respectful... A+ talaga staff sa mga hotels that I've stayed at, regardless if they are 5-star or transient. And if nakapangalan sayo ang booking, you have to personally check in.

It was impossible to use the wheelchair to enter their parking area kasi very steep talaga - you need a car. Anyway, ang ginawa ko is nagpa-drop off kami sa loob ng parking area tabi ng elevators and then, used the elevator papuntang lobby to check in... If you have a vehicle, okay lang but if wala at nag-gra-Grab lang? Well, plan ahead talaga.

Gold ring size 6 for ref

A “pawnable” 0.69g 18k Saudi yellow gold ring (photo sent by the Shopee seller). My ring size is 6... in case I forget. Another buyer left a review that when they took it to Cebuana, they received an appraised value of P1,800 or ~50% of the retail price. Gold 18k market value is ~P3,400 per gram as of today (Sept. 11,2024). But for serious assets = gold bars are preferred over jewelry.  Actual ring I received ✨ Pretty small hearts design and stamped Au750 / 6. The diamond cuts make it sparkle. It looks very nice when worn.

December in food pics 2023

Chicken Nuggets (Purefoods Chicken Breast Nuggets) Yum with BBQ sause. Sliced mango yung nasa taas, masarap din, matamis. Homemade Baked Macaroni Ordered from a neighbor for noche buena. It has beef, mushrooms and bechamel sauce. Still yum. Second year in a row na since  2022 noche buena macaroni . Pork tocino and scrambled egg (Pampanga's Best Original Tocino) with suka, syempre. Dry yung eggs huhu.
