Some work that I do call for complete silence for me to function. No music, door shut to keep the outside noises out. There's a foresight of boredom prior to starting them that, more often than not, has been proven wrong when I get into it. I could call it refreshing - discovering that you don't get bored with what you're doing like you anticipated you would be. Still, the brewing idea of boredom still come up - even though I know that I won't really be bored - making it tasking to begin.
