store-bought sushi

Image
Hi. Store-bought sushi. This was Php69, I think. The first mouthful of sushi is always the best one - slight dip in the soy sauce and into the mouth... yum. It's that first and literally, sweet bite. That is until the 4th piece. After that, it's too much. After the 4th piece of sushi, nakaka-umay na .

pldt dsl dns 2

pldt is using new dns servers, apparently. such a headache. problems came up but i'm happy to report that they're currently solved. two days ago, devices on our wlan quit getting internet access. they were connecting to the router fine but no internet. initially, i thought the problem was with the router -- that its wifi chip or something was fried because the pc on ethernet cable was working normally. i got so anxious that i thought i'd just buy a new router just so i could calm down. fortunately, i remembered noticing a week ago that pldt gave us a new ip address. the muss of being on dynamic ip, i know. see, i use analytics on a site & noticed that my log ins were reported with a different code. SO i stopped obsessing about the router & thought about this other circumstance of the problem -- the pc that was running OK is on OpenDNS[dot]com & the problematic devices (just so happened that they're wireless) were still on automatic and was using t

shakey's delivery

Image
Got myself a shakey's pizzanatic card -- finally realized its value. Perk for delivery orders is a free large, thin crust pizza (either hawaiian or pepperoni) for large, fam or ny pizza (neither hawaiian nor cheese) + 1.5L cola purchase. What's tricky with this is that I like pineapple on my pizza (shakey's hawaiian). So, in our house, the free pizza is finished off first and the paid-for pizza is there for seconds. Wait, I said there's value with that pizzanatic membership - for me? Oh yes. See, one large or family hawaiian pie on its own is not enough. There should always be a spare so no one is left hungry for more grub, regardless if what was paid for was the spare. Let's see how long this Php407 per pizzanatic delivery order that has been getting us two large, thin crust pies and 1.5L coke zero, will last.

Hi me! Stop uploading to flickr. You have the free account. You can only see 200 of your most recent pictures. Flickr says not to worry and that the old photos are still there -- it's just that they want you to pay $25/year to see them!
