acase kindle touch cover

the kindle cover we saw at best buy was for paperwhite, without a magnetic snap to keep it closed; it was $34 -- mahal, di na. don't know if the difference in dimensions of a paperwhite and touch (wi-fi) were insignificant that a cover for one would fit the other. anyway, got one off amazon for less than $10 AND it has a magnetic snap to keep it closed (around $15 with standard shipping).

this kindle cover is by Acase and so far, it's holding up. it's affordable, fits the kindle touch (wi-fi) OK and it does its job. can't beat that.

It has beef, mushrooms and bechamel sauce. Still yum. Second year in a row na since  2022 noche buena macaroni . Pork tocino and scrambled egg (Pampanga's Best Original Tocino) with suka, syempre. Dry yung eggs huhu. Sinangag sana yung rice pero bagong saing kasi. Dapat sa fried rice yung day-old na maalsa para buhaghag. Speaking of... tagalog ako pero yung term na "maalsa" sa bigas, recently ko lang naintindihan 😁

Cold, Windy, Audacity, Congee

Lovely weather now. It's cold - not too cold that I have to bundle up - it's nice. It's windy outside too. Mosquitoes in my room are not afraid. It used to be that when you wave a hand over one that's "dining" on you, it would fly away. Now, when I feel an itch on my leg and put a hand over it ever so calmly, I squash the bug. Gross. Here was my dinner yesterday, chicken congee or arroz caldo . Suitable dish during cold weather 'cause it's filling and the spiciness from the ginger hits the spot.
