sad shopping

bought someone a gift online last week {monday, 14th} but it did not turn out well.
they were in the country then but they flew out this week {wednesday, 23rd} before the gift was delivered.
i followed up and the store said that it might take another two weeks to confirm delivery because they are moving warehouses so there is a backlog on earlier orders. they said if i wanted to cancel, they will offer me store credit or a refund.
i cancelled.
hopefully they'll get everything updated and sorted out very soon.
