Holiday Shopped

My darling nieces' Christmas gift is on its way!
I think it's uncanny that it's easy and convenient for me to give my darlings gifts -- just because they're living in a country where online shopping and shipping is a breeze. It is fantastic and sad that my present circumstances allow me this, which otherwise, I believe, would not be so easy if they were here. But I wish they were here because I miss them, but it's unlikely that I'd be able to do what I want for them if they were.

A “pawnable” 0.69g 18k Saudi yellow gold ring (photo sent by the Shopee seller). My ring size is 6... in case I forget. Another buyer left a review that when they took it to Cebuana, they received an appraised value of P1,800 or ~50% of the retail price. Gold 18k market value is ~P3,400 per gram as of today (Sept. 11,2024). Bought their "Everyday Bowl" just to try since I was craving fried rice. Usually, I get the "classic plate" with 2 entrees + 1 side of mixed veggies.

Golden Powerchair Charging/Chargers

Always have a spare charger for your electric wheelchair just in case... like today. When we plugged in my powerchair, the light on the charger turned green when it should've turned red (for reference, green light = fully charged VS. red light = charging). The actual light has been dim and difficult to see for a while now. I started using this generic charger in January 2021 when the original charger stopped working. Anyway, we troubleshoot... Took the spare charger out, plugged it in and RED light! Yay *insert tears of joy* - oh there's an emoji pala  😂. The light is nice and bright. So if the light becomes dim, it is a sign that the charger needs to be replaced soon. Now that I think about it, I noticed that sign with the original charger too. Since the spare is now the primary, I will get a new spare charger (again).  the original charger the generic charger replacement
