Skirts and Stains

We've been to Ross (?) and yes - stuff there are very affordable and pretty nice too for around $8-$30 per item of clothing! Anyhoo, I got three skirts from there. Those are two white sort of like peasant-types and one black & white one. I'm wearing one of the white skirts right now. The day's not yet over and there're already colors on it - stains (? Hope not! lol!)

The first was at breakfast when we had eggs and microwave-heated chicken nuggets. It was my fault when a nugget got away from my fork (haha!) after I dipped it in ketchup. The second was courtesy of my darling niece who was so nice to offer me some cheeze puffs. She was already digging in the bag and has been licking her fingers for a while there... then she said, "Here, Dada!". GREAT!

I intended this skirt to be my while-at-the-house skirt so it's okay. Stains - welcome!

34C, maynilad, condo water drama

  April 16, 2025 It's that time of the year... Ang iniiiitttt na ng 34 C (feels like 37 C)!!! The heat at 6AM wakes us up. Noon time is somehow bearable because of the black-out blinds, but we have to turn on the A/C at 3PM already or our tech will be affected (esp. the laptop and electric wheelchair!) or worse, we suffer heat stroke.  Maynilad's annual "repairs and maintenance" around Holy Week doesn't help since they provide our condo's water supply. Speaking of which - our condo admin shut off water for many days citing Maynilad repairs from April 6-17 . They announced a water interruption schedule on the 8th (as they should though very late) to allow the community cistern to get full, but they neither followed their stated hours nor gave any more updates or explanations interim - it was awful since the areas around us had steady supply already by the 11th/12th albeit low pressure. Karinderya menudo

  Pork, pork liver, hotdog, potato, bell pepper... parang ito lang ang ingredients ng pork menudo sa binilhan kong karinderya. Luto sa atsuete.  Hmmm... mas bet ko ang ganitong luto ng menudo, yung walang tomato sauce. Pero weird ang lasa nung hotdog na ginamit dito.  Siguro kung ako gagawa, hindi ako maglalagay ng hotdog. Pinoy-style menudo pa ba yun kung walang hotdog?  Sa wakas, nakapagluto nadin kami ng garlic fried rice. Kaso nasunog nanaman ang bawang LOL

Paymaya duplicate account 2018 [fixed]

How to fix a Paymaya Duplicate Account issue? Do not waste your time sending an email to support@paymaya.com or messaging PaymayaCares on FB because you will only get a canned response (and a headache). YOU NEED TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING... If you do not have a landline but you do have a Smart number, call *788 directly. This is free. That's what I did. I spoke with a rep and she fixed it right away, mabilis lang. She said the BSP (Bangko Sentral) is strict and will only allow 1 upgraded account per user. Any attempts to upgrade a different number will flag the new account and put you in this duplicate account mess and you won't be able to add money to this new number anymore. (The original account will not be affected though.) Because they cannot cancel the submitted upgrade request on the new number (it doesn't work that way daw), I had to choose which number I want to keep-- If I choose to keep the old upgraded number, they will delete the duplicate account and I ...
