It's not my house. It's not my pldt wifi, they don't have to share it if they don't want to.  I'm trying to cope, find my own way. Mobile data is fine but I can only do so much on a phone. To work productively on the laptop, I need a faster and stable connection. I can't get my own pldt dsl yet cuz I don't want to be locked in a contract before I move out. I hope this lte pocket wifi will work when i need it.

Oohhhh... Fix: PLDT DNS still sucks. Go to internet connectivity properties and manually set your IPv4 settings to either Google's or OpenDNS. This fixed my problem. Google's preferred and alternate dns: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220

Last time I was at Walmart (or another supermarket, I forget) in FL, I spent most of my time in front of a wall with bins of travel size toiletries - baby wipes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc - that cost ~$1 each. Too bad I could not see the top bins from my powerchair. I remember that moment, I rolled back and forth in front of that wall taking forever to decide what not to buy.
