we returned the bad specs yesterday. after a little chat, they took the glasses away. they came back and confirmed that the left lens was cloudy. they will
scold complain to the lens-maker and fix it. they asked if the right lens was ok. i said i couldn't tell. after a short while, the optometrist took out the metal frame with lenses {corrective/diagnostic tool?} and put it on me. i said the correction was good, just like last time. doctor said this was the same prescription as my new glasses {so i think she meant that the right lens should be ok}. they said i didn't need to go back there and someone else can pick up the fixed specs. it should be done by tomorrow, they said. they will call me, they said. ok, i said. thank you, we said.
today
got the call this afternoon. asked someone to get it for me. i put it on... hmmm. might need to get used to it
