Shrimp, fish, ampalaya, rice. Delicious. I know I want light, clean, minimal and quiet. We tasted 3 kinds of Quaker Oats instant oats: chocolate drink, original drink and the banana with honey. All were yuck not good. Think "cough syrup" (blech).

Fried Kwong Bee Chinese sausage slices (I drool.) and delicious, cold buko pandan from our nice neighbor (salamat po). Sent payment to someone's Globe mobile phone bill through "bills payment" (online banking) and it took Globe 4 weeks to post it. Payments like these are supposed to go through within 3 business days. When it still wasn't posted after 5 business days, we followed it up with Globe. They instructed us to email them the details of the Globe account, bank used as well as attach a screenshot of the bank transaction with the subject line, "Unposted Payment." We did that and they acknowledged receipt of the email so, we waited. We waited 3 weeks before it was posted successfully.

The wireless mouse's nano receiver is stuck in the left-side USB port of the HP laptop. And this is probably why: read jong81's post on reddit . The picture he shared below explained it well enough. It's an old post but if HP still installs that kind of USB port in their machines... it'll be bad. Mine's a Microsoft 3500 mouse and not his Logitech VX Nano so, there must be side-holes on the Microsoft mouse too. Took out my other MS 3500 and checked. There's no hole on this side... But on this side... there's a hole. One hole. So it must really be stuck. Dammit. I'll be checking USBs for holes now... Wonderful. *December 2016, update: I told my sister it's stuck... but then she just pulled it right out! Geez - I'm such a weakling LOL!

Yesterday's broccoli, leftover pork stew, rice and freshly squeezed dalandan juice. I lost money in the bank last year (2015). A fee was more than my net interest. I used to keep some interest or just break even by opening short-term time deposits (TD) but TD rates have been sh*tty since the 2nd half of 2013. What's more, my bank temporarily stopped accepting TDs for 6 months last year without prior notice. They might do that again so I'll need a backup plan. I need to think (and compute).

I think we're having a cold spell. I've had to wear this at night or else I'd get chills. Pashmina feels soft and light. It warms me up well - so nice. The scarf is not mine. We dug this out of someone's closet. They let me borrow it. Thank you.
