beat

Arms and upper back are tired. Went through an old box of stuff from college. Mostly folders, columnar worksheets and journals. The number of worksheets we went through back then was...! And boy, did they drill us, 20 years ago, 10 years ago, the kids now are probably doing the same thing (or they better be!). Feels refreshing to throw these away. Not finished yet but I'm getting there. Somehow I need to do it piece by piece, take out the papers and cut the folders. Cutting cardboard is not easy.

lays stax vs. pringles

Lay's Stax > Pringles. Just sayin'. Pringles hurt the ngala-ngala , Lay's Stax don't. Lay's Stax are thicker, more flavorful. It's hard to keep from snacking on just one handful. I... want... more. A handful and a half is just right. If I have any more I'd be thirsty. If I drink, I'd want more, then I'd get thirsty again, then... Chocolate in the house. Going through a box of Lindt (pasalubong!). Each person just picks one after dinner.

new fridge fund

I have a cold. Achoo! Our old fridge used to shut off by itself at random times. A couple of days ago, it just wouldn't come on. Now, they're cramming things in their smaller, personal fridge but it's getting too full, nothing's getting cold. The "new fridge fund" should be ready before the week ends. It was started around the start of the year after someone was especially PO-ed after finding out the fridge was off the whole night. The time has come to use it. Hopefully, it's enough to cover the cost of whatever they find at the store that they like.

salad and playing piano

10/10/14 Friday chicken + salad dinner 10/11/14 Saturday We took a video of me playing the piano. It looked like I was giving the finger when I played keys on three scales for a measure. Embarrassing. I deleted it. {myositis}

morning call

10/9/2014 I hear the bells down in the... (ringtone)! *Yawn* Hmmm...hello? Zalora delivery, ma'am, may I know the nearest street...? Good morning! Received after two days. Thanks, Zalora PH. Dinner. Pancit from a neighbor and a strip of fried chicken.

hot no?

10/1/14 It's really hot here, isn't it? Especially at noon and midnight (yes, midnight). Ayayay! I felt sick on Sept. 28, around 2.30 a.m. Sudden nausea. I stopped working and went to bed with a barf bag. I did not vomit. Today, my stomach acted up. It woke me up. Rumble... nothing. Rumble... nothing. I thought that was it, I was fine. Then, rumble! Toilet! What's happening?! Nausea, diarrhea. Could be stress... or the fish oil supplement I started on Sept. 27? I don't know.

hot and cold

So far, within a day, it's been hot one moment and cold the next. It's a cycle. It has been raining most afternoons too. The hot/cold cycle is a pain at night. I'd keep under the covers for a few minutes, then I'd need to push it off me. I'd do this over and over, several times a night before I could sleep.
